An Alternative Provision with a Difference

Based in Somerset, Make it! provide alternative provision for vulnerable and disaffected young people in key stages 3 & 4, with an emphasis on re-engaging them in their learning through creative, practical and vocational projects.

We work alongside mainstream schools, special schools and pupil referral units.

How Make it! Are Different

Social skills, emotional literacy and employability skills are integral to our craft project work and our off-site activities programme. Plus -

Groups Taught in 1 to 3 Ratio

In order to provide the care and attention these children need, at Make it! we keep group sizes very small.

Well Prepared and Resourced Activities

A fully equipped workshop and art room ensures that students take home high quality items that they have made. 

A Team with over 35 Years Experience

Our team have supported children's eduction in mainstream schools, PRUs, children's homes and colleges.

Opportunities to Gain Qualifications

Students on sustained placements can access the Arts Awards Programme and we are happy to collaborate with partner schools to help deliver their qualifications whenever possible.
